The number is an incredible achievement for Nintendo and Goa Team, and the title became the game Warriors best-selling a few days after its launch, in November 2020. The Goa TEMPO Tweet that announces achievement can be found embedded below.
For those who are not familiar with the game, Rule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a Musou title, similar to the Dynasty Warriors Franchise of Goa TEC MO. This of the calamity is the second game of Musou based on Zelda's franchise. The previous Guerrero of Rule focused on characters from multiple games of Zelda, while era of calamity instead focuses on characters from Heal of the savage. To join the two games even more, the calamity uses a largely based artistic style in Horny of the savage, making it really connected with the switch launch title. The game mode is significantly different from the Zelda series (it focuses more on the Hack-and-Slash combat), but there are many elements that should look familiar to lifelong fans.
After the announcement, some fans have already begun to make their requests for future Musou games with Nintendo properties. The answers and appointments for the previous Tweet have requested games with characters from the Kirby and Enfilade franchise, but remains to see what will come next. It is possible that Goa Team and Nintendo can make another game of Zelda, or could change the focus to something else completely. In one way or another, the relationship between the two companies has been very fruitful, and it is a secure bet that the two will continue to work together!
