Let s start with a courageous opinion. The Halo Infinite campaign looks a bit like Far Cry in space. Why am I saying that ? It seems that Halo Infinite adopts an open world approach for its solo game of the game and as it will not be launched in multiplayer, it means everything for the moment.
Maybe I generalize too much, but that s what the Internet serves. The preview of the campaign that 343 Industries published earlier in the day shows us that Halo Infinite is much more than that.
Traditionally, Halo games have a linear structure with closed missions and levels. The library is separated from Two Betrayals, Tsavo Highway is separated from The Storm; Each level occupied its own space and experience. This new trailer shows us a halo very different from the one we are used to, and I m not just talking about Zeta Halo.
The campaign will have a large open world with a ton of different locations, such as pre-posts and bastions of The Banished. The tactical card shows each location with several points of interest, such as objects to be destroyed and other objectives. In this way, it can look like a game in open world of Ubisoft or something like that.
We also see rather rare things in a halo game, which are boss fights. They appeared in previous games, but not very consistently. In Halo Infinite, we are shown threatened new enemies, hard to cook Forerunner, health bars?! What is this game ?!
For the first time, Master Chief is able to improve his capabilities and equipment, such as propellant efficiency. It s crazy, but if the improvements made by 343 multiplayer industries during test flights are an indication of the final product, Halo Infinite will be a treat. Halo Infinite will be released on December 8th on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | s.
